Born in United States on March 2, 1937.

1948

1948 National Juvenile Dance Champions Ron Jellse and Carol Haller representing Fernwood, Peoria, Ill.

1952

Ron was Jr. Boys Figure Champion in 1950 Nationals held at the Cleveland Rollercade, Cleveland, Ohio

1956

Winning Senior Fours "The Fabulous Fours" Ron Jellse, Carol Haller, Ruth Ann Koch, and Robert Anderson

1956/1957

Senior Mens Figure Champion representing his mothers home rink of Fernwood, Peoria, Ill.

1959

Ron's first placement at the Nationals as a coach - Jim Harmer Won Jr. Mens Singles

1972

Wedding Bells for Ron and Nancy Jellse
September 2, 1972

1974

Ron and Nancy welcome the birth of their son Shawn
August 6, 1974

1975

Shawn welcomes his baby sister Roxanne
Ron and Nancy have a Daughter
August 20, 1975

1977/1978

Mr. Ron coaches the first skater (Debbie Adams Hinton) to defend the Freshman Girls Figures title in 1978 after Winning the title in 1977 Prior to that if you won Freshman you had to move to Junior.

1979

Coach Ron Jellse has his first Skater Qualify for the World Championships
Gary Schmidt Figures and Singles combined

1982/1983

Rickey Monturo qualified for the World Championships in Singles Coached by Ron Jellse

1983

Ron had two skaters skate the National Sports Festival. Rickey Monturo (Senior Men's Singles) & Debbie (Adams) Hinton Senior Ladies Figures.

1999

Justin Nelson-Milton wins the Gold at the World Championships in Jr Figures Coached by Ron Jellse

2000

Jason Nelson takes the Bronze at the World Championships in Sr Figures Coached by Ron Jellse

2003

Jessica Feuerstein passes the gold medal figure test at age eleven, coached by Ron Jellse.

2004

Ashley Hinton wins the Gold at the World Championships in Jr Figures Coached by Ron Jellse

2005

Jessica Feuerstein passes the gold medal loop test at age thirteen, coached by Ron Jellse.

2005

Ashley Hinton takes the Silver at the World Championships in Jr Figures Coached by Ron Jellse

2006

Ron had the youngest ever United States Senior World team member to compete in Figures at the world level. (Ashley) 6th place finish.

2007

Passed away on March 26, 2007 at the age of 70.

2007

Jessica Feuerstein earns a place on the Junior World Team by placing second in Junior World Class Ladies Figures. Ron's teaching lives on.
