NOTE FROM NANCY Today, April 23rd, marks four weeks since Ronnie has passed away. I still find it very hard to comprehend. I would rather think that he has gone away on a trip and that he will be coming home in a few days even though my heart knows that's not true. It's impossible for me to even begin to thank everyone for the overwhelming support that you have shown our family at such a horrible time in our lives. I have recieved hundreds of cards, letters, poems and e-mails that have expressed such a heart felt warmth for Ronnie that it makes me realize how many people he actualy had a connection with. I know he would have been very grateful.
So many wrote of how he inspired them and gave them the desire to be better than they thought they could be. So, I think it's extremely important for me to tell you that that was a two way street. You are the ones who inspired him! If it weren't for all of you, he would not have been who he was. YOU WERE HIS INSPIRATION !!! He dedicated his entire life to what he loved and I'm sure if God says, "Go for it" he will be busy building a club of skaters again. At the end of every day when he would come home from the rink, Ronnie would sit down and tell me about all his lessons for the day and what each of you had done. It was the same when he would go out of town. Even if I'd never met you, I knew about you through his stories. It was always funny how he would be talking to a friend of his about something other than skating, only for a moment because somehow he would lead back into the sport with, "Yes, but did you see so an so skate the forward bracket?" and he would be back to what he loved best... ... ... skating... ...
When it's all said and done he was a lot of different things to a lot of different people; lover of skating, student of the sport, coach, mentor, husband, father, little boy at heart and my best friend. Right now it seems like the sick feeling that I have will always be with me, even though I know time will help to make things better. I will continue to read all the cards, letters and the entries on the web site over and over again as they are very calming. Again, I Thank You more than I can say ... ... ... Nancy Jellse

SUCCESS
“To laugh often and much: to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends: to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”
Please download any pictures you have of Mr. Ron to the Photo Album and Thanks to those who have.
When we die there are two thing so noted which we have no control over, when we were born and when we die. between them lies a "dash" that is what is important. What we do between these two dates represents our life.
Ron Jellse "dash" represents a lifetime of building Champions as well as fulfilling many dreams. We are put on this earth to make a difference and he did his job well. Gloria Manning
